Step-by-Step Guide for UAE Freelance Visa

1. Sign Up on TAMM

Visit the TAMM app or web portal: TAMM Freelancer License.

Fill in details such as name, capital, mobile, and email.

Select your labor status (full-time/part-time/unemployed) and ensure an NOC if employed part-time.

2. Select Activity

Choose your preferred activity from the list provided.

3. Upload Documents

Attach your degree/certificate/diploma or other experience documents. Ensure these are attested and in English.

4. Pay for Trade Name

After trade name verification (approximately a few hours), pay 65 AED plus VAT.

5. Complete License Payment

Once approved, pay approximately 1200 AED plus VAT for the trade license. Check the TAMM portal regularly for updates.

6. Update Beneficial Owner Information:

Provide accurate and truthful information for the Ultimate Beneficial Owner section.

Visa Process for Freelance License

1. Register on e-Channel

  • Sign up at eChannel.

  • If you encounter an “Establishment not active” error, visit the Abu Dhabi Immigration Office to resolve it.

2. Subscribe to e-Channel

Pay 3220 AED (includes 1000 AED refundable deposit, 2000 AED subscription charges, and miscellaneous fees).

3. Apply for Entry Permit

  • Ensure your previous residency is canceled.

  • Select “Partners List” under required documents in TAMM.

  • Cost: 356 AED.

4. Change Status

5. Schedule Medical Fitness Test
