Dubai Visit Visa Update for Pakistan: Who Is Being Approved (September 2026)

Dubai visit visas are open for Pakistani nationals, but not for every profile. As of September 2026, UAE immigration is approving visit visas for families and for individual applicants aged 40 and over. Single applicants under 40 are not currently being approved, and 48 and 96 hour transit visas are not being processed for Pakistani passport holders.

Is the Dubai visit visa open for Pakistanis right now?
Yes, for families and for individual applicants aged 40 and over. These files are being approved under normal conditions, with the usual processing time of 3-5 working days. Applications from single applicants under 40 are not being approved at the moment. There is no general ban on Pakistani citizens: the UAE decides each file on the applicant's profile.

- Men and women aged 40 and over, travelling alone. Being approved with standard documents, including a 6 month bank statement.

Dubai visit visa price in Pakistan (2026)
A 30 day Dubai visit visa costs PKR 33,000 for single entry and PKR 55,000 for double entry. A 60 day visa costs PKR 52,000 for single entry and PKR 75,000 for double entry. Children pay half the adult fee on 30 and 60 day visas, and the adult fee on transit and 5 year visas. The table below is the full price list; fees include our service charges.

Dubai visit visa requirements for Pakistan
- Valid Pakistani passport, with at least 6 months' validity from your date of arrival in the UAE. Airlines check this at check-in.
- Passport scan: clear colour scan of the photo page.
- CNIC copy: front and back.
- Photograph: recent, with a plain white background.
- Bank statement: last 6 months, recommended for individual applicants.

How the situation has changed
- September 2026: visit visas open for families and individual applicants aged 40 and over. Transit visas are not being processed for Pakistani nationals.
- July 2026: approvals resumed across the main applicant profiles.
- January 2026: the UAE Embassy in Pakistan denied reports of a visa ban on Pakistani citizens; files were reviewed case by case.
- 2024 to 2025: a period of stricter checks, with higher rejection rates for some profiles and priority for family visit visas.

Is the Dubai visit visa open for Pakistanis or not? Is there a ban?
No. There is no general ban. Visit visas are being approved for families and for individual applicants aged 40 and over. Single applicants under 40 are not currently being approved, and transit visas are not being processed for Pakistani nationals.
Can Pakistanis get a Dubai transit visa now?
Not at the moment. 48 hour (PKR 14,000) and 96 hour (PKR 21,000) transit visas are not currently being processed for Pakistani nationals. If you have a layover in Dubai and want to leave the airport, a visit visa is the option while this lasts, for eligible profiles.
Can Pakistanis get a Dubai visa on arrival?
No. Pakistani passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in the UAE. Every visa must be approved before departure, and your airline will ask for an OK-to-Board confirmation before you fly.
How early should I apply before my travel date?
You can apply for a visit visa between 58 and 5 working days before you travel. We recommend applying at least 2 weeks before departure.
Do I need a bank statement for a Dubai visit visa?
Yes. A bank statement is required with every Dubai visit visa application. Upload a statement stamped by your bank for the last 6 months; a healthy closing balance makes the strongest file.
What happens if my Dubai visa is rejected?
Visa fees are generally not refundable, which is why our consultants review every document before you pay. If you were rejected elsewhere, we can look at your file and advise whether and how to reapply.
Which emirates can I visit with this visa?
A UAE visit visa is valid for the whole country. You can land in and travel between Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and the other emirates.
