Getting to Jinnah International Airport (KHI)

Jinnah International is on Shahrah-e-Faisal, east of the city centre. Allow 30 to 60 minutes from Saddar, Clifton or DHA, and more from Gulshan, North Nazimabad or Malir at rush hour; Karachi traffic is the usual reason people arrive late.

  • Arrive early at KHI

International departures from Jinnah International Airport require passing through strict FIA immigration controls. Always arrive 3 to 4 hours before your flight departure.

  • Smart entry tip

Print a physical colour copy of your e-visa along with your return ticket to present at both the Karachi departure gate and the Dubai immigration desk.

  • No protector stamp needed

A Protector of Emigrants stamp is for people going abroad to work. You do not need one for a Dubai visit visa.

OK to Board: check before you fly

Some airlines ask passengers on a UAE visit visa for an OK to Board on their visa before check-in. Rules differ by airline, so ask the DubaiVisa.pk team to confirm what your airline needs and to get your visa OK to Board stamped before you travel.
