From Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Dubai is barely three and a half hours away: close enough for a long weekend, a business meeting or a family visit. The part that takes planning is the visa, and it has to be issued before you board.

Since 2022 we have processed UAE visas for Pakistani travellers entirely online, so you can apply from your desk in Blue Area or your home in Bahria Town without a single trip across the twin cities.

DubaiVisa.pk

DubaiVisa.pk is Pakistan’s first online portal for Dubai visit visas: apply from anywhere in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, upload your documents, and a visa consultant checks every one before you pay. Your e-visa arrives by email and WhatsApp.

Getting to Islamabad International Airport (ISB)

Islamabad International is west of the city, off the Srinagar Highway near Fateh Jang. Allow 30 to 45 minutes from Blue Area or the F and G sectors and 45 minutes to an hour from Saddar in Rawalpindi or Bahria Town. The Orange Line Metro bus runs to the airport from Peshawar Morr.

  • Leave early for ISB

The airport is a long drive from most of the twin cities, and FIA immigration checks visit-visa passengers closely. Leave home so you reach the terminal 3 to 4 hours before departure.

  • Smart entry tip

Keep a printed colour copy of your e-visa with your return ticket and hotel booking; you may be asked for them at check-in in Islamabad and at immigration in the UAE.

  • Night flights are common

Many Islamabad flights to the UAE leave between midnight and 5am. Check the date on your ticket: a 01:10 flight on the 12th leaves the night after the 11th.

OK to Board: check before you fly

Some airlines ask passengers on a UAE visit visa for an OK to Board on their visa before check-in. Rules differ by airline, so ask the DubaiVisa.pk team to confirm what your airline needs and to get your visa OK to Board stamped before you travel.
